OTTAWA, ON — The Colorado Avalanche have a tight turnaround from their last game last night. Tonight it’s the second and final matchup of the season against the Ottawa Senators.

Whenever these two teams play one another, chaos ensues. It’s been nothing but high-scoring affairs which usually entail back-and-forth battles. Almost 10 goals per game have been scored in the last seven games, totaling 69 goals.

Last Time Out for the Avalanche

The Avs played well at the Scotiabank Centre in Toronto. But with a lack of 5-on-5 scoring plus some insane puck luck for the Toronto Maple Leafs, they would fall in a 2-1 final.

Last Time Out for the Senators

Ottawa is on a tear and thoroughly competing for a wild card spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in a month’s time. However, they lost to another Eastern Conference team vying for a playoff spot in the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night 6-3.
