DENVER, Colo. — Saturday afternoon brings about a good matinee matchup. The Colorado Avalanche host the roaring St. Louis Blues in another big Central Division rivalry matchup.

This will be the third game of the season between these two, plus one more coming in early April. St. Louis took care of things with three unanswered goals to win 3-1 last time out at the Enterprise Center. They’ll look for a repeat effort at Ball Arena.

Last Time Out for the Avalanche:

The Avs continue their own hot streak, having won four straight games. Most recently, it might’ve been their best all-around game of the season against the Los Angeles Kings in a dominant 4-0 showing on Thursday night.

Last Time Out for the Blues:

The Blues have propelled themselves right into the running for the second wild-card spot. It all comes amidst a dominant eight-game winning streak. Most recently, they beat the Nashville Predators 3-2, which eliminated the Preds from playoff contention.
