DENVER β€” The Colorado Avalanche are heading into Game Four against the Dallas Stars down two games to one. The biggest non-factor for the Avs has been the power play. If Colorado can spark their power play, they may find success in Game Four. Dallas has made the difference in games, especially the last game on Wednesday, where they converted on their own chances. A mix up will be in order for the Avs and it will have to be done quickly.

Colorado Avalanche (1-2)

The Avalanche have struggled at putting the power play together lately. They have gone 2-for-13 in the series so far, which converts to only 15 percent on the power play. They have lacked a net front presence during any offensive push into the Dallas zone, but Gabriel Landeskog could fix that problem. The top power play unit needs to have a shake up as well. Jonathan Drouin has been ineffective, not providing any offense on the power play. This is the major area of concern for the Avalanche, if they fix this, they will have a chance.

Dallas Stars (2-1)

The Stars are making the Avalanche play into their game. Dallas has been constantly pressuring the Avs. Colorado is getting very little time to breathe when they are making plays and panicking. They are forcing Colorado out of their system and in to a dump and chase, which is something they have not done all season. If Dallas can continue with the relentless pressure, they will find success.
