The Colorado Avalanche will be looking to take control of the Minnesota Wild in Game Two on Tuesday night at Ball Arena. Taming the Wild would be a big deal for Colorado to take a 2-0 series lead on the road.
Meanwhile, Minnesota will be looking to get back on even terms after a very strong offensive outing. Both sides still have so much to play for in a critical Game Two.
Colorado Avalanche (5-0-0)
The Avs’ perfect playoff record was kept intact after beating the Wild on Sunday night in a dramatic and out-of-control result. The 9-6 win was the most goals Colorado has scored in a playoff game in franchise history, even dating back to the Quebec Nordiques.

All but five players recorded a point, with Devon Toews leading the way along with Cale Makar in the back. Makar, despite leaving for most of the first period, was great. Luckily, Jared Bednar said he is expecting him to play on Tuesday night.
However, Jack Ahcan was spotted at morning skate as well from the AHL affiliate Colorado Eagles. While there are still unknowns about the status of Josh Manson, expect the lineup to be the same, with Ahcan simply being another option.
Projected Lines

Ross Colton – Nazem Kadri – Nicolas Roy
Parker Kelly – Jack Drury – Logan O’Connor

Brett Kulak – Sam Malinski
Brent Burns – Nick Blankenburg

Minnesota Wild (4-2-1)
The Wild will be looking to rebound after their Game One loss and get control back in this series. They went toe-to-toe with the Avalanche all game long and came out on the losing end of the high-stakes, high-scoring game.
Quinn Hughes went toe-to-toe with his counterpart in burgundy and blue with a goal and two assists. Interestingly, he was the only multi-point scorer for Minnesota.
10 others scored a point in the loss, and will look to get more out of Game Two even without Jonas Brodin or Joel Eriksson Ek. A win over the Avs would put the Wild in a prime position heading back to home ice.
