DENVER, Colo. — Hello and welcome to all! We are proud to introduce the newest place to find everything relating to hockey across Colorado: Hockey Mountain High!

We are your new one-stop shop for all things Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Eagles, and Denver Pioneers. As the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Calder Cup Playoffs, and Frozen Four approach, now is the perfect time to get things up and going surrounding all of your favorite teams.

Our site will consist of Evan Liu as the site manager, plus Brennan Vogt and Savvy Rafkin as staff writers and editors. Brennan comes in with experience at a variety of sites covering Colorado hockey alongside both Evan and Savvy. Evan was the former site manager of Mile High Hockey. Plus, we’ll have another writer or two joining at a later date.

There will also be a heavy presence on the audiowaves with the Tell It Avs It Is podcast rebranding to the Hockey Mountain High Podcast, hosted by Griffin Youngs and Christian Bolle.

What to expect

We’ll have highly dedicated and in-depth coverage of the Avs, Eagles, and Pioneers. This includes locker room presence and in-person coverage for the Eagles and Pioneers. This will allow us to give readers an even closer look at the teams that are highly deserving of top-tier coverage. Should things go to plan, we hope to do the same for the Avalanche later in the future.

Video is the future of the industry. Hence, there will be plenty of videos compiled and edited together to help propel our coverage forward alongside our writing. These videos will also coordinate with the Hockey Mountain High Podcast.

Finally, we will build this community together. Community is what makes being a sports fan great. This will be the place to be to talk all things Avs, Eagles, and Pios. With localized coverage, assistance, and roots based in Denver, all thanks to the backing of a media conglomerate like Mile High Sports, it’s everything everyone needs and wants when it comes to local sports coverage.

I look forward to serving the community with even more quality coverage of championship-caliber teams. Any suggestions to make this place even better are strongly welcomed and encouraged.

Once again, welcome to the mountaintop at Hockey Mountain High! We can’t wait to serve you and talk hockey. Let’s drop that puck and keep this site rolling. See you in the comments section and on social media!
